Brand History
The Lamborghini Story
Ferruccio Lamborghini established Automobili Lamborghini in Sant'Agata Bolognese on May 7, 1963. The 350 GTV prototype appeared later that year, followed by the company's first production car, the 350 GT, in 1964. The transverse-mid-engine Miura arrived in 1966 and became one of the defining early supercars; the Countach followed as a production model in 1974. After several changes of ownership, Lamborghini joined the Audi-Volkswagen Group in 1998, gaining the resources that supported the Murciélago, Gallardo, Aventador, Huracán and Urus eras.
Logo History
Evolution Of The Lamborghini Logo

1963–1964
The first prototype briefly used a white bull on a red shield. A more complex four-color badge was then prepared for the first production cars.
1964–1989
Lamborghini established its enduring emblem: a detailed golden charging bull on a black shield with the marque name across a gold header.
1990–1997
Introduced with the Diablo, this larger shield used a blue background with a silver-gray bull and lettering.
1998–2023
Following Audi's acquisition, Lamborghini Centro Stile restored the black-and-gold palette and refined the shield, bull and lettering.
2024–present
The current identity uses a flatter, more minimal shield, broader lettering and restrained black-and-gold colors. The bull can also appear independently on digital channels.
