Brand History
The Radical Story
Radical Sportscars was founded in 1997 in the United Kingdom by Mick Hyde and Phil Abbott to build lightweight, motorcycle-engine-inspired track cars that could be registered for road use. Models such as the SR3 and the V8-powered SR8 became mainstays of track-day and club racing culture, and an SR8 famously set a production-car lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in the 2000s. The company also runs its own one-make racing series around the world.
