Origins

The Geometry C of 2020 translated the brand's mission into hatchback form: a compact electric five-door with family-friendly packaging, honest range and pricing aimed at China's private-buyer mainstream rather than the specification-race vanguard. Export pilots reached selected markets as Geely tested international EV appetite. The C competed steadily amid the segment's explosion, its virtues accumulating few headlines. Its place in the record is representative: one of the competent, unglamorous electrics that did the volume work of normalisation while attention followed the dramatic — and a stepping stone toward Geely's consolidated Galaxy strategy, into which Geometry's earnest products and lessons were folded. Normalisation is thankless work; somebody's product has to do it. Volume without vanity was the assignment, and the C completed it without complaint.
