Origins
Geometry launched in 2019 as Geely's dedicated electric marque, and the A was its manifesto: a smooth aero saloon — sub-0.24 drag claims — with tidy minimalist cabin, offered at mainstream prices to normalise EV ownership beyond early adopters. Fleet and ride-hailing demand absorbed much of the early volume, as across the segment's first wave. The A's engineering was conservative by design: proven components, no spectacle, reliability as the pitch. History assigns Geometry a transitional role — Geely's learning brand before Zeekr's premium leap and the Galaxy consolidation that eventually absorbed it — with the A as the earnest first draft of the group's electric grammar. First drafts rarely survive, but everything Geely ships electric today learned from this one.
