The Evolution of 2015 modernised the GTR without diluting it: revised aerodynamics and brakes, interior civilised by Ultima standards, and supercharged Chevrolet LT-based V8 options rated beyond 1,000 horsepower in a car still barely over a tonne — power-to-weight in hypercar territory at a tenth of hypercar money, turnkey or in kit form as ever. Factory figures claimed 0–60 in the low twos and top speeds well past 240 mph with appropriate gearing, numbers buyers could verify because the company published build specifications rather than mystique. Electronic assistance remained absent on principle. In an era when rivals added modes and screens, the Evolution's argument was continuity: the fastest analogue experience on sale, from a Leicestershire factory that never once apologised for the concept.
