The M50V of 2016 aimed Venucia at the budget MPV wave: a seven-seat people-mover priced for the family demand China's relaxed birth policies and inland prosperity were generating, on the brand's established value-engineering formula. It competed against domestic MPV specialists in a segment where price and space per yuan decided everything. Sales proved respectable without distinction as the crossover boom simultaneously siphoned family buyers toward SUVs. The M50V's place in the record is contextual — part of the JV value brands' broad-catalogue phase, when Venucia fielded entries across every affordable segment while the strategic question beneath the brand went unanswered. Family metal without family branding rarely holds a segment; the M50V held its corner honourably.
