Origins
Yutong's City Master of 2010 packaged the Zhengzhou giant's urban-bus competence for world markets: a full-size city platform in diesel, gas and increasingly electric forms, part of the product wave that made Yutong the planet's largest bus manufacturer. Fleets from Latin America to Central Asia adopted it on the standard Chinese-export calculus — capability, price, delivery speed. As electrification accelerated, Yutong's city ranges became the developing world's default zero-emission transit answer. The City Master line's real historical function: normalising Chinese buses in hundreds of cities that had never previously considered one. Normalisation, route by route, is how industrial empires actually annex territory. Hundreds of transit authorities took their first Chinese vehicle through exactly this route, then took hundreds more.
