Origins

Zeekr's early cars were expensive and unusual. The 007, launched in December 2023, is the mainstream one: a mid-size four-door saloon designed under Stefan Sielaff, offered with a rear motor or dual motors and all-wheel drive, and priced to compete directly with the Tesla Model 3 in China.

Design and engineering

Its significance is technical rather than stylistic. The 007 introduced Zeekr's in-house Golden Battery, an 800-volt lithium iron phosphate pack claiming very high charging rates for a chemistry usually associated with slow replenishment, and it uses cell-to-body construction to stiffen the shell. The company also fitted its own driver-assistance hardware and a large curved display.

In production

A shooting brake version, the 007 GT, joined in April 2025, giving the model the estate body Zeekr's design language suits particularly well. Between them the two shapes gave the brand its most affordable and highest-volume products.
