Brand History
The Suzuki Story
Suzuki was founded in 1909 by Michio Suzuki in Hamamatsu, Japan, as a manufacturer of weaving looms. The company entered motorized transport after World War II, launching its first motorcycles in the early 1950s and its first car, the Suzulight, in 1955, an early pioneer of Japan's kei car class. Suzuki grew into a global force in small cars and motorcycles, with landmark products including the Jimny off-roader, the Swift, and the Hayabusa motorcycle, and built a dominant position in India through its Maruti Suzuki subsidiary.
Logo History
Evolution Of The Suzuki Logo

1909–1958
The early company used various wordmarks and emblems during its loom-making era and first years of vehicle production.
1958–present
Suzuki adopted its stylized red 'S' mark in 1958. The angular, sweeping letterform has remained essentially unchanged for decades, usually paired with the blue SUZUKI wordmark, making it one of the most stable logos in the industry.
