The VV6 of 2018 refined WEY's formula at the range's core: a compact-plus premium crossover emphasising driver-assistance technology — the segment's early push toward L2 features as standard equipment — with the marque's dark-luxe styling and Great Wall's turbo powertrains. It became the brand's steadiest seller through the initial years, absorbing the premium experiment's lessons: Chinese buyers would pay somewhat more for demonstrable technology, less for badge alone. The VV6's assistance-first positioning anticipated the intelligence wars that would later define the market. Within WEY's evolution it bridges founding swagger and the Mocha-era pivot to hybrid-tech flagships — the model where the brand located its actual argument. Selling assistance before the industry named it proved the brand's best early instinct.
