Brand History

The Landwind Story

Landwind was launched in 2004 as a passenger-vehicle brand of Jiangling, later operated through the Jiangling-Changan joint venture, selling budget SUVs in China and briefly in Europe. It drew international attention for poor early crash-test results and for the X7 SUV, whose resemblance to the Range Rover Evoque led to a landmark 2019 Chinese court ruling in Jaguar Land Rover's favour.
