Origins
The Higer Paradise of 2014 served the touring-coach trade: a full-size coach in the company's export families, carrying the Suzhou builder's value proposition to tour operators across Asia, Africa and Latin America. Higer's coaches — often Scania-partnered at the premium end — had made it a leading Chinese bus exporter; the Paradise line worked the volume tiers beneath. Such products rarely surface in automotive history, yet they carried the industry's real globalisation: Chinese coachwork becoming the developing world's default long-distance seat, one tour package at a time. The name oversold the destination; the coach reliably reached it anyway. Tour operators from Manila to Lagos kept the type working long past its catalogue years, as the class always does.
