Origins

Launched in 2019, the X90 sits above the X70 in Jetour's range: a longer mid-size crossover with three rows of seats, aimed at Chinese families who wanted the practicality of an MPV without the image that comes with one. Like the rest of the brand's early range it draws its platform engineering and engines from parent company Chery.

Design and engineering

It has been steadily updated rather than replaced, with a Plus version bringing a larger body and a more expensive interior, and it has followed the X70 into export markets. Its proposition is unfussy — a great deal of vehicle for the price — which is precisely what Jetour was set up to offer.
