Origins

The B10 is a compact electric SUV launched in 2025 on Leapmotor's newer platform, with a rear motor driving the rear wheels through a single-speed reduction gear. Technically it is a consolidation of what the company had already learned on the C-series rather than a departure from it, with the same emphasis on in-house electronics and integrated battery construction.

Design and engineering

What marks it out is where it is built. Alongside the home plant in Jinhua, assembly is spread across Stellantis facilities in Zaragoza, Spain, in Purwakarta, Indonesia, and in Gurun, Malaysia. That is a deliberately international footprint for a young company, and it reflects the terms of the Stellantis partnership: Leapmotor supplies the engineering, Stellantis supplies factories and dealer networks in markets where Chinese imports face tariffs or quotas. The B10 is the first model designed from the outset to be sold that way.
