The L380 of 2024 revealed LEVC's post-taxi ambition: a vast pure-electric MPV — named for the Airbus A380 with intentional grandeur — built in China on Geely's new SOA architecture for the mainland's premium people-mover boom, where executive vans outsell limousines. Six-to-eight airline-style seats, three-metre-plus wheelbase and lounge appointments aimed at hotel fleets and family buyers alike; the London cab heritage supplied the accessibility engineering and brand fable. It marked the marque's transformation from Coventry taxi specialist to Geely's global mobility label, with the L380 as flagship evidence. Whether Britain's black-cab maker can anchor a Chinese luxury MPV brand is the experiment; the L380 is its confident first exhibit.
