Origins
The 360 of 2015 filled Roewe's compact mainstream: a family saloon slotting between entry and executive lines, with the brand's connectivity emphasis and SAIC's cost discipline serving the volume segment's practical buyers. It sold usefully in the sedan market's remaining growth years, sharing showrooms with the RX5 crossover whose 2016 internet-car explosion would redefine the brand entirely. The 360 belongs to Roewe's foundation-building phase — the competent products that kept dealers viable while the strategic breakthroughs incubated. Such cars rarely make histories, but the RX5's famous success launched from a network the 360 generation's steady commerce had kept warm. Networks, not nameplates, are what breakthrough products actually launch from. The 360 kept its corner of that network warm without complaint.
