Brand History
The Haima Story
Haima traces its origins to a late-1980s joint venture on Hainan island that assembled Mazda models, and the name itself combines Hainan and Mazda. After the partnership with Mazda wound down, the company continued building cars under its own Haima brand, for a period within the FAW group. It later gained attention as the contract manufacturer that built early Xpeng electric vehicles.
