Origins
The EuroCargo arrived in 1991 to replace two separate lines — Iveco's own Zeta and the Cargo inherited from the Iveco Ford venture — with a single medium-duty range covering roughly six to eighteen tonnes. It was named International Truck of the Year on launch, in part for a low cab-forward layout that made a day of multi-drop delivery work markedly less punishing for the driver.
